Good morning, everyone!
It's freezing cold inside here in Houston, but we have the fireplace going, and the water runs at low pressure. The kitchen stove has two burners that work when the power is off, so the coffee is hot. My I-Phone just came back in for texting, but we don't have wi fi internet access. Take care and stay warm

Thanks for reporting in Jim. Doesn't sound too bad (easy for me to say). Is the stove split between natural gas and electric?

Good morning! Dave, it's a Thermadore gas stove, but it requires electric power to operate -saftety features I suppose. It allows for two of the burners to function when the power is off.

Hello everyone!
Our power came back on last night, but the Texas grid is a disaster, and is predicted to fail! (more in Politics).
