Good morning, Did anyone watch the Masters golf tourney. Sunday finally calmed down after 3 days of crazy wind and freezing temps. Tiger made the cut but the awful weather on Saturday wore him down. It is a hilly course and he had a tough time. He did finish and I think it was a miraculous effort especially after what he went through after his horrific accident which almost cost him his leg and his life. He was very appreciative of the fans and players who supported him He also praised the medical staff who got him to the his current condition. Scottie Scheffler was great and deserves to be #1. He came from nowhere winning 4 tournaments in 60 days including the Masters. He will be a force to reckon with this year.

Ray, We thoroughly enjoyed it. Now that my wife golfs, she can see the difficulty. Scheffler's chip in on 3, or McIlroy and Morikawa both chipping in from the sand on 18
I suspect Tiger is still in agony today. It is easy to overlook the walking aspect of the game. Granted he's not knocking off 5 minute miles but it is a 4 day marathon of 6-7 miles.
Having been there it is very hilly.

We mere mortals can't understand just how hard the greens are there, not only for putting but chipping on.
Granted it was only a practice green, but you can hit a 50 foot putt ( actually a spot that's a 3 foot putt) that ends up 6 feet to the right or left of the cup if you miss the spot by an inch or two on either side.
I would have preferred it if it were a little closer down the stretch but, eh, C'est La vie!!
