She takes it all in stride. She likes to amuse her friends with these "plans" of mine. Actually, she has already made all of her funeral arrangements with the Neptune Society.
I suspect she'll outlive me and I'll go dotty and require longterm care long before she does.

^ Maybe we should warn her. But she's probably got Dean's number by now.
No need, she already knows. Although she's not in the habit of swearing, she does like to point out, as often as possible, that I'm a [rectal orifice].

My S2K friend here in Middletown is a funeral director... he has a Pilot for body pickup, so my last ride will be in a Honda

I think donating your body to science is free - the price is right and slightly more upscale than Dean's plan

One of my co workers hopes to get into Harvard that way. The "classes" have been rather full lately, so not sure they are still accepting students.

I told my wife I want a Viking funeral to save on costs. Gather all of my family and friends at the beach, put me in a wooden boat and push me out to sea. Then have everyone shoot flaming arrows into the boat. Target shooting for everyone would be required before I go.

Red you are correct, I get to put 6150 in an HSA account. But it's still money out of my pocket. And last year I made a once in a lifetime transfer to my HSA from my IRA. My HSA balance is still just over $500 now. Last year, between my medical insurance and my out of pocket maximum, I paid out over $25,000 from my pocket and my HSA.

I selected We each get our plans at our places of employment, family plan too $$$$ although in fact my plan covers me and AJ while my wife's plan covers her. That worked out to be the least expensive option.

I don't know if this has been brought up yet but due to changes in IRS policy, you can no longer get reimbursed for over the counter products from a Healthcare Spending Account.

Does that mean you are in the Uranus Society?
