We're planning a kitchen remodel right now at casa Chazmo. Truth be told, I'd be way more interested if we were building a new garage.

Sometimes I wonder why my wife stays with me.

(OK, someone start a Vintage garage photo thread. I may not participate due to "garage inferiority complex" though )

Well that is an interesting excuse to move the old kitchen cabinets out to the garage...

That's pretty sweet, Doug. First, I need to start with electricity and lights, and then maybe I'll graduate to creature comforts...

Do you keep Fruit Loops and stuff in there.

Let the garage wars begin!

Mine. And my husband is now trying to figure out whether he wants to expand to the side or to the back..... There's a shop area you can't see at the back left side of the garage and the back has a pumphouse/gardening shed attached, so the lawnmowers and garden stuff don't take up valuable garage space.

RJ, I love how you have the Mini in sideways!!!

What is the red car in the deepest part? I can't quite make it out. That old Triumph is really sweet!

And it's an original Mini too, not the BMW version. Is the red car a Spitfire?

I also see a chassis with a four-banger... resto project?

wishing I had space for more than my S... pics of just how cramped I am to come tonight.

Bingo! The red car is a '66 Spit that we bought as a "parts car", put some paint, wheels, and tires on it, and eventually transferred (after driving it for a couple of years) a 1500 cc motor ( - a little healthier than most 1500s) and an overdrive to it. It's a 20-footer but it's not in line for restoration at the moment. The green car is a friend's TR-3 - that's usually where the S2000 resides. The frame is a Triumph GT-6 (so that's a straight 6 - not a 4); however, the body (1964) will be a British Racing Green (the darker Jaguar kind - not the lighter one seen on the TR-3 in the garage) with an early GT-6 bonnet. The Mini (blown engine) is a '70. I suggested to my husband that we put it on top of one of the shelves, but he felt better giving it floor space....
