When should kids have a cell phone
#11
Lainey, you are not alone on this. I think kids with phones should be told by their parents that it is rude to be with someone, and then ignore them while they talk to others on the phone. Basic common courtesy. If a kid cannot follow that, give them the phone ^ with two buttons on it.
And everyone with a phone should be reminded that you don't need to yell or carry on a loud conversation in public as though it's the President that has just called you.

Another one on the side of common courtesy. My 42 year old niece. She said she was having lunch with a neighbor who constantly was checking her phone. Finally my niece asked her if she was having lunch with her, or with her ##$$$ phone. The phone was put away, and has not appeared at recent lunch dates.
Good for my niece for speaking out.
