Let's see...
Back in 1984 I bought my 1st nice car out of college, I was looking at a used VW Cabriolet and a Honda Accord Hatchback. I knew very little about both and went to consumer report's magazine, which told me to buy the Accord, and that is how it all began.
'81 Accord Hatchback, 173,000 miles when traded in
'87 CRX-Si, 68,000 miles when traded in
'90 CRX-Si, still own with 103,000 miles
'02 S2000, still own with 42,000 miles
'73 CB 350/4, can't remember what it was up to in miles
'85 Nighthawk 650, still own with 59.000 miles
And as I'm always thinking ahead, maybe 2011 CRX

I had a Civic CVCC 2Dr in the seventies, then a 1981 Accord, a 1984 Accord, a 1986 Acura Legend, a 2000 S2000, and a 2007 S2000. I have never worn out a Honda; even though I kept the Acura for eleven years... that was the sweet little 2.5L V6.

I find it extremely interesting how brand loyal so many Honda owners are.
Personally I've never had a bad Japanese car - no matter who the manufacturer. I owned Toyota's, Acura's & Honda's, Nissan's, and Subaru's. I am brand loyal to Honda when it comes to small 4-cycle engines ( I have their 5-hp snowblower, 5-hp leaf blower, and getting ready to buy one of their 8-hp boat motors come spring time).

My S (2006) was my first and more than likely not my last. I was a diehard Toyota fan. I had a Celica, an Avalon, a Previa, and a Highlander. I still own the Avalon and the Highlander. When the time comes maybe a Pilot to replace the Highlander.
