I am assuming that you mean a CB400F (a 400 CC inline four cylinder) as there was no model that was designated as a CM400?
Yep, CM 400 a side by side twin. It had mild cruiser styling, stepped seat, slight teardrop tank, pulled back handle bars, 5 spole wheels. It was available in burgundy or blue. There was a version of the style that also came with an automatic transmmission, IIRC.

Would you like to own two more 81 Accords, cheap?
I had them for a long time. One was sold at 205,000 miles and the other at 150,000. Both were Red Hatchbacks.

1. 1987 Accord LXi
2. 1993 Accord Prelude VTEC - replaces 1983 Mazda RX7
3. 1997 Accord LX SE - replaces no. 1
4. 2000 S2000
5. 2005 Honda CR-V - replaces no. 2 and 1986 Isuzu P'up
6. 2005 Acura TSX - replaces no. 3

We keep a car usually for 8-10 years. The highest mileage we have put on was 87,000 miles. The 1997 Accord is still on the road being driven by our son-in-law.

Wow! This is really a hardcore Honda community

Our roster is shorter, but every one has been a great vehicle for it's time/purpose:

* 1995 Honda Odyssey EX/ auto...still own as our 'pickup/SUV'....145,000 mi
* 1997 Acura CL2.2/ 5 spd....leased....traded for the S
* 2000 Honda S2000...Silverstone/ Blk+Red...sold to good friend...>90,000 mi
* 2003 Honda S2000...GPW/ Tan ...bought '05 w/12.5k miles...now 33k

The interesting thing is that for all of the Hondas that I've owned, I've never put 100,000 miles on any of them. I did put 87,000 miles on my 1986 Accord and it spent almost it's whole life in New York City. 87,000 New York City miles is probably the same as 250,000 suburban miles. My '86 was absolutely trouble free for all of those miles (although someone stole the license plates once). I probably would have gotten to 100,000 miles had it not been totaled.

We'll probably hit 100,000 miles on the three Civics that we own now that we're out in New Jersey. I doubt my S2000 will ever hit 100,000 miles. At the rate that I'm going it'll take me another 25 years to put that many miles on it.
