I wear a suit and tie to work every day. I kind of like it.
Of course, its jeans, old shirts and scruffy sneakers when I get home.

When I got my job here, I knew suits would be appropriate, so I bought a half dozen. In hindsight, a better plan would have been, oh, three, with two of them, identical, to be the every-day ones (and the other one for special occasions). Then, the only morning decision about what to wear would be the shirt and tie. Sort of the white collar version of simplification.
Good suits are actually quite comfortable, and if a tie isn't, you need a bigger shirt collar size.
