I'm heading to Chet's place in GA for a long weekend in the Appalachians. I'm sure Chet +1 will be quite busy all weekend lying on the floor with the lights out and the shades drawn, and pretending they're not home.

Just keep ringing the doorbell!

We don't have too much going on this weekend. I'm hoping it will be a much more relaxing weekend than this past one. I love a pretty yard, but it's a lot of work. I know Rick still has a "to do" list of car detailing and other things, hopefully, we'll get some goof off time too.

Ally turned 10 today, so we will attend a birthday party for her late Saturday afternoon.

I'm planning on washing the house Friday night and Saturday morning. Sunday is for rest!

It probably won't do much good. I doubt they'll be able to hear it over the cacophony of cicadas.

Headed back to DC today. Then tonight a tuning place is sponsoring a party at an Asian restaurant up the street from us, so I think we will drop by. Some Mid-A members will be there.

Our local volunteer fire department is putting on a BBQ, we planned to go. But guess what- sunny California is stuck in winter. It is still raining today and set to break records for rainfall on this date (and tomorrow also). Guess we'll be staying home, indoors, reading a book. In 53 years of living in California, I have never seen it this cool and rainy in June. (and up to this date since 1/1/11 as well)
If it lets up, I plan to go to the delta for jetski races tomorrow, but not if standing in the rain is on the menu.

Putting the final touches on a headboard I've been building. Hopefully it will see it's first coat of finish next week. I think a little sailing is in order tomorrow.

^^ Enjoy!

I'm watching baseball at the NCAA Regional at Rice this weekend. If Rice wins out they will play the winner of the Fort Worth (TCU) Regional next weekend in the Super Regional here, for a trip to Omaha. If they get that far I may go to the CWS! Dream on!

Met up with sixteen S2000's at Car's & Coffee this am in Dallas. Had a great time visiting and taking pictures of the exotics, vintage and classic cars.
