I don't think you and the other guys would like MY kind of strippers

I had an R8 pass me in the S last year - it took all my willpower not to and follow him! What a great sound that car made.

Hmmmm....leaving in less than 24 hours for 3 weeks in Europe

Flying to/from Zurich so there will be a few days on each end in Switzerland, but most of the time will be in Italy. Haven't been there since the 70s, so we're really looking fwd to it. Center piece is a weeklong stay in a farm/villa in Tuscan...half way between Siena and Florence, but we'll also be in Parma, Assisi, Lucca, Como and the Cinque Terre. There will be 5-6 of us at various times....4 high school classmates + two friends. Driving the twisties in two VW Golf sedans.

Kathy retired on Friday the 13th so this is a semi-retirement trip for her.

Will hopefully be posting some later on

Will be looking forward to pics. Our friends who were down last weekend will be spending several weeks in Tuscany and are renting a villa in the country for their visit. They are realllllly looking forward to that trip. It'll be neat to compare your experiences with theirs.

OMG, for us, a holiday weekend means more work.

Rick's been busy washing cars, doing yard work, planting his vegetable garden and puttering around since around 9:00 AM. I went for a walk, puttered in the house, fed the grandkids and Mom lunch. After lunch Ally went out with my sister and Ryan was a great helper cleaning the deck with me.

Rick had set up a wading pool for him and that kept him entertained. The kids are gone, the yard is picked up, and I'm beat. Off to dinner soon. Hope I don't fall asleep in my dinner plate.

More yard work tomorrow and/or Monday. I think we need to move to a condo.

Family visiting and my son-in-law and I are driving everyone in our Jeeps on the beach tomorrow to soak up the sun, surf fish, grill (hopefully with the fish we catch) and I am trying out a stand up paddleboard which I am probably going to buy if I like it. Dont forget to remember our veterans on Monday. Without their sacrifices we would not be enjoying this holiday weekend.
