Jerry, we've been to Portsmouth Island/Village a couple of times on past visits. Neat place, but the mosquitoes are murder during the summer. Didn't realize you had been down here before. Still no word on the resumption of ferry service.
Update: The ferry is now running!

Yes, the Rosedon - where Gene and Bea stay. Really looking forward to this trip. Leave the 22nd. I have arranged a walking tour with a very popular guide there named Tim Rogers. He has worked with Colonial Williamsburg and Jamestown settlements, so will have lots of info. I did not know that Bermuda was settled by peeps stranded by a ship which sailed from Plymouth, England for Jamestown and got lost along the way. Interesting history.

I was all set to type nothing then I remembered we're taking the mother in law out to dinner for here birthday.

my elbow tendinitis may have finally shut down golf for the season.

but maybe I can haul my fat arse out on the bike for a while.
it was a gorgeous afternoon to come home early with the top down.

I stopped taking the post-op narcotics a couple of days ago, so I'm just trying this weekend to ride out some shoulder pain before starting serious rehab next week. .

Wishing you well, Jim. Meanwhile I'm thinking of returning to the narcotic pain solution.
