My daughter Stephanie is home from college this weekend. It has been great. We had dinner tonight out by the pool. I can tell she really misses the place.

We had a friend's family over for dinner yesterday. It was nice to re-engage with old friends. After church this morning, it is a quite evening so far. Life is good while listening to old LPs by Hall and Oates.

We are anxious to get out in the yard and ready the gardens for our spring planting. The weather is not cooperating. We are anxious to get out in the S2000, and the weather is not cooperating..... right now not too much on schedule for the weekend.

This weekend will be fairly quiet, which is good. Getting my parents' sewer line replaced has been quite a project and we are all tired of it. Sun is the Cherry Blossom Festival kite flying event on the Mall. It had to be postponed due to lousy weather. Hope it's nice this Sun. There are always some really kites.

Last Saturday: Golf followed by much yard work followed by grilling out and a viewing of "The Invention of Lying" dvd.
Last Sunday: More yard work, followed by a trip to Art in the Pass, an arts and crafts fair in Pass Christian. There was a woman there who does amazing photo realistic style works that incorporate cars and bikes like this.
The original (you can order prints) was the centerpiece of her display at the fair.
After the fair we spent the rest of the afternoon and evening at a benefit at a local pub. $5 for a huge lunch of locally caught fried fish (done right), slaw, baked beans, shrimp pasta, etc. Best $5 meal on the coast that day. Caught four bands, the last of which played well into the evening. These guys are all local musicians with very strong backgrounds who occasionally play together. They laid down some fantastic blues. You would have thought they had been working together every day for years. A couple of the best musicians from earlier bands sat in as well contributing some very strong keyboard and sax work. It was a wonderful day...too bad I had to return to work yesterday.

Weather permiting, I'll be getting the Healey out of storage this weekend. She is complete, registered, inspected and should be ready to drive. Hey Doug, I may be ready for the tour this year.

Don't forget to
There's a promo for What's My Car Worth that runs regularly on HDTV. Every time they show the shot of the Healy 3000 I am reminded of you and your amazing project.
