[QUOTE=Lainey,Feb 24 2011, 07:37 PM] Here's a link to the menu for this weekend's dinner locale
Inner Bay
Click on the various items and you'll get an idea. They have different ways of cooking pork and beef and who doesn't like a fried egg on top of their steak?
My favorite is shrimp mozambique. Love the spices and garlic. Rick often gets one of the pork dishes.
They also have dinner specials, which may include goat, rabbit or other different items. I pass on those.
PS If any of you ever had coffee syrup in your milk (mostly a New England tradition), I gave some to Patty once and her family gave it thumbs down!

Hoping to have lots of down time this weekend.
This past week was very busy, what with the sudden death last Thursday of our daughter's mother-in-law. The past week has had a lot of babysitting, visitation hours, and the funeral.
goblues2k also worked many long hours on preparing a very nice slide presentation of photos of the life of our daughter's mother-in-law from the time she was a baby until the present time. Our daughter gave him many photos and she also gathered many photos from other family members. Some of you probably remember many of the photos from Josie and Riley's birthday parties as Marie had made all of the beautiful cakes. goblues2k is giving a CD to many of the family members. They all appreciated his work very much.
Friday night we are babysitting for Riley while Josie and her Dad go to a Father/Daughter "Sock Hop" with Josie's Girl Scout Troop. Our daughter will be helping at that, and we'll have Riley overnight.
The local Target Store is having Dr. Seuss readings on Saturday morning, so depending on how our morning goes, we might take Riley to that, too.

Fri evening the +1 is organizing "training" at the local bar. We will be celebrating his last day on the job at his old place. He's very happy about the change. A great opportunity for him and also a better working environment. My bro from AZ also arrives Fri for a long weekend. Will be nice to see him.

Guess it's a quiet weekend for folks?
We don't have much happening and weather doesn't look great.

I'll be returning from Minneapolis on Saturday, so half my weekend is shot. I'll probably go to the Boat Show on Sunday.

Tonight: Dinner under the stars at Darwell's, listening to The Jewel Thieves. They are an interesting couple. She plays electric uke and sings everything from Billy Holiday to grunge. He plays an electric body-less stand-up base, a trombone, a soprano trombone, Stratocaster, and some pan pipes he made himself. He loops everything so he can sort of play all the parts at once.
Friday: Rest up and get ready for the weekend...Maybe take the NSX out if the weather is nice.
Saturday: Work on a friend's Mardi Gras float. Cook up some jambalaya.
Sunday: Ride said float in the St. Paul's Mardi Gras parade in Pas Christian. This tends to be the wildest of the local Mardi Gras parades.
Monday: Recover.
