The +1 is running with his group this morning - 14 miles. Then this afternoon/evening we are going to two parties. He be crazy. He may run the full rather than the half marathon in Feb in Myrtle Beach. March is another marathon here. Yep, he crazy!

I'm going over to my mother's to take a couple of things, since we can't visit tomorrow. Gonna be a mixed weather mess here.

^^ I noticed you guys may be in for some big nasty stuff. SC is sending teams of electric company workers in advance of the storm to help out with power outages. Must be heavy poo coming that way.

We are going to a CUSA football championship game this morning in Rice Stadium. It's kinda cold and rainy right now, with some icy wind gusts. The Owls have done pretty well this year. Brrr!

We are hosting a MG club Christmas party today - rented hall, catered meal - but still lots for us to do. We kick things off at 2pm and go late into the night!

Our two parties yesterday were fun with good food. First was tea at the Ritz with our investment company, then an open house up the street with friends. The +1 says he is running this morning in spite of less than great weather conditions. He will finish before 10, so maybe it won't be so bad out by then (snow/sleet). Yeah, he crazy.

Even a grinch like me enjoyed the sea of Santas. My friend and I were at a local fire station and I asked one of the firefighters if I could stand in the back of a pick up truck to get above street level for pics. It was his truck, so I was good. Still tough to get pics without distracting stuff in background/foreground, but I enjoyed the moment.
