Had a fun dinner last night with some friends we had not seen in a while. Good time! Picked up right where we last left off.
Today I hit the Y, puttered around, did some errands, shopping. Eating in tonight, Rick is making steak tips and some sliced potatoes cooked in the oven.
Tomorrow, more puttering I think, weather doesn't look to be very nice. It's all good though. No kid duty, so I'm not rushing around like a crazy woman this weekend.

Went to my daughter's body building competition. I had never been to one before. It was a trip.

Both Lainey. All kinds of classes and age groups. OMG, what they go through to compete!!! It is the exact opposite of politically correct behavior. It is a sport that says "Who cares where my eyes are? Look at my ass! Look at my chest, my stomach and back. Look at my body. I've been working on it for years. Look at it!!!"

So now that you've had this experience which do you prefer, a dance recital with kids and so many Irish step dancing numbers you want to stick needles in your eyes, or the body building competition?

What I think I SHOULD be doing is hiring a cleaning lady. Tired of spending Sundays doing this stuff, and right now I'm in the midst of "Fall Cleaning" because not much "Spring Cleaning" was done. Too bad a cleaning lady is not in my budget. Well, I'm halfway thorough anyway. Three rooms down, three to go. Glad I have a small house.

Arrived in the Sacred Valley today, after 3 nites in Lima, Peru....a center of gastonomy! Getting acclimatized to the 12,000 ft elevation for a couple days in Cuzco....then the more strenuous two day visit to Machu Picchu and all of its mysteries of the INCA civilization. It's the best archaeological site in South America
