It was a very nice way to spend the late morning/early afternoon, Lainey. Also, I have been to C&C with these guys a few times, and they are very, very, nice and totally un-pretentious, even though some have cars costing 5 and 6 times mine. We are car guys, after all!

^^^ Gene, that sounds a lot like our annual Lonestar Club Top-down-only-unless-your-S-has-a-hardtop Polar Bear Drive in the middle of the winter here in Texas - similar rules, but without the colorful and brave reference to the cool cojones that you guys will be frosting up! Hell, if it werent so far I would be there with youse guys - and gals - freezin' ma baolls off, too!! But I was just wondering if you'd probably come to reconsider the Drive Moniker in favor of including some cool equivalent orbs that the Vintage Hotties would be more comfortable exposing to the cold!

Quiet weekend coming up to start Nov. However, the rest of the month will be busy. Nov 9 we are staying at National Harbor by the Wilson Bridge overnight for the +1 to run a half marathon on Nov 10 up the GW Parkway from Mount Vernon. This was postponed during the gov't shutdown. The following long weekend we are in Las Vegas for the Rock n Roll half marathon. Weekend after that we see Pink in concert, then it's Thanksgiving.

^ Yeah, I love her. We were lucky to get tix. Everything sells out in seconds here. Also lucked out and got Cher tix for April. She's always been on my list to see, so finally will.

I have no kid duty this weekend, and I'm happy about that. Love them, but need some time off. IF I'm not stuck in my recliner with a box of tissues and cold medicine (something's brewing now) we have plans Friday night for dinner with friends we have not seen in a long time. Saturday I will go to Zumba and socialize a bit with the ladies afterwards. Not sure what else, but I can plan even more stuff. After all, we have an extra hour to kill this weekend.
