Yep, friends are good. I have to admit I'm struggling with anxiety over +1's friends who are coming to visit this Friday. They are not among my list of favorite people but +1 has known the male for many years and was his college roommate. I'm not "feeling the love" as I have little in common with these people (almost nothing) and find it difficult to enjoy myself sitting for hours listening to them talk about how much $$ they have. I realize there are some cultural differences that make it harder to enjoy their company but for +1's sake I'll put my best food forward. Sigh . . . the things we do for the love of our spouses!!!!! I have to add that these people know next to nothing about us since they're so busy talking about themselves they never learn about us. He is a porsche driver, btw, so I've sized him up (naughty me).

Yes and I'm very, very thankful. Last time they visited it was for several days. I "had an appointment" and just had to leave the house to be able to breathe during that visit.
