Another weekend, another lighthouse.
Beautiful pic! Must have been gorgeous in real life!
Thanks! We were up close and personal with this one. Climbing around on the rocks. Would like to have seen it from the water.

Maybe lunch with a couple S2000 pals on Wednesday or Thursday??? We decideded to hit the road after all. If Rick's hip issue flares up too much, we'll stop in Cape May or find something else to do. Right now we are planning to be in SC next week!

Thanks, Jim. We both feel the need to run away from home for a bit. We've only taken long weekends so far this year. Looking forward to 11 no work days!

I went to the Hemmings Car show in Saratoga this weekend which was great and also got to check out the Saratoga Auto Museum where they had some of the Warhol BMW's on display. The coolest thing happened when I got back to my S to leave, right in the space opposite my car was its twin another ap1 red S! Up here in northern New England I don't see many S' esp. red ones! The other thing was the lot was packed so what are the odds that a space was open right across from my S. Pretty cool!

Lainey! If you do wind up in Cape May, then maybe you could take the ferry across the Delaware Bay to Lewes, and we could meet you for there for lunch? You could also take the alternate route to SC, driving down the Delmarva Peninsula and taking US 13 and then US 17 to Myrtle, which keeps you off the dreaded interstates. We would make a convenient lunch stop if you took that route.

This is the route: Link

This weekend’s planned bicycle outing through the Colorado National Monument is tentative due to the Government’s shutdown. With good foresight, my cycling group planned an alternate route that skirts the Monument two months ago, so that trip is still a go. The Moab trip I had planned for the following day will be cancelled if the National Parks remain closed.

I noticed that The National Panda Cam is shutdown today.
