I’ve changed my travel plans for this weekend…there are many people and friends in my locale that need help recovering from Colorado’s recent flooding. I’ll be volunteering for a bucket line dredges and the use of my gasoline powered sprayer. So many areas are a disaster and many have no flood insurance or assistance. It’s a bummer.

Skydiving. Going on a tandem jump for the first and last time. If I go splat, I'm only tossing 20-30 years.

Good on you, Gary. I have seen some of the pics from the flood damaged areas, and it is very sad. I have to say that Colorado is my next-to-favorite-state (NC is the first). My mom was born on the prairie near Deer Trail, so Colorado has a special place in my heart.

I was wondering since your posts have not mention the disaster if you were too removed from it. It looked really bad around Estes Park, the only area I'm familiar with.... I'd heard 11,000 had to leave that area. Good for you for helping out!!!!!!!

I'm going to the British Invasion up in Stowe Vermont tomorrow. I've never been and have heard good things about it.
Robb, ~2007 green mountain tour for S2000 that Ellen put together was at the same time as the british invasion.
So we had this rather cool moment on the approach up to Smugglers Notch when a steady stream of Healeys, MG's
and Triumphs were met by a steady stream of S2000's coming the other way.
Sort of a past meets future kind of thing.
That was a great time Jerry.

Enjoying my last few hours of peace and quiet before a family of four arrives to spend a few days.

Spent the evening cleaning my sister-in-laws house. Her basement will require new furniture, sheet rock, carpet, furnace, and water heater. E-coli contamination is a problem because of sewer backups in her basement. We did the best we could with shovels, buckets, bleach, power washers, and fans. Winter is coming to Colorado soon and there is desperation for the furnace repair/replacement. I’m tired after the evenings work and going to bed soon.

Just returned home from one hell of a shopping spree at Ikea we received as a gift. It felt especially good since it wasn't our money.

Looks like all have been busy and some have been doing good deeds.

I had the grandkids last night. We had an air mattress malfunction, a bloody nose at 2:00 AM and a Grandma I can't sleep around 5:30. I was on soccer Mom duty by 8:15. It was gorgeous out this AM. He had fun and no blood was shed. The granddaughter went off apple picking with a friend, so it was just Ryan and us for the afternoon.

Kids are gone now, we'll be heading out to dinner soon. Likely in the S, though it is windy and rather cool.

got the 15 year old ML320 with 215K on the clock inspected this morning and it made it through another year.

Then I swapped the ducting for the dryer..... Holy Crap I couldn't believe how blocked up it was.
Worse than Dean's arteries.
