Birthday on Saturday so I'm having brunch with a girlfriend. Group drive in the canyons on Sunday.

And since the insurance check came in today (which I promptly deposited), somewhere in the midst of whatever else is going on this weekend, I am buying a danged econobox and calling that crap done.

The +1 and his son are going to the Nats game tonight. They are in a race for the wildcard. Not sure they can make it at this point with only nine games left. Last home game is Sun. I'm going to the farmers market with a friend tomorrow morning then have breakfast. Saw Granny yesterday for lunch. She is fine but very busy. Not sure she will log on anytime soon.

Preparing to do my 15th MS Bike to the Bay ride tomorrow. This ride is expected to raise over $1M which all goes to research for this dreaded disease to help find a cure. I doubled my contributions from last year. Again this year I will be riding for Brett Fetters son of Spokesman and a friend I worked with, Dave Goodrich. 78 miles and it is supposed to be vey windy.

I'm going to the British Invasion up in Stowe Vermont tomorrow. I've never been and have heard good things about it.

Had to cancel my original plans to join the Upstate gang at Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome. Now my back-up plan is to attend a local Oktoberfest Celebration.

Robb, ~2007 green mountain tour for S2000 that Ellen put together was at the same time as the british invasion.
So we had this rather cool moment on the approach up to Smugglers Notch when a steady stream of Healeys, MG's
and Triumphs were met by a steady stream of S2000's coming the other way.
Sort of a past meets future kind of thing.
