This is why we hire people.

Good thing we planned on pizza party vs a cookout today. Weather gods are not smiling down upon us at all.

Looks like Rick and I are about to become soccer parents for a while. The little guy is registered to play, LOVES to play and the son and daughter in law have lousy weekend schedules on Saturdays. It starts this coming Saturday. I'll take the early AM games, Rick will take the later AM games. The things we do for our kids/grandkids. Maybe I can still hit the Y on Saturdays.

I thought I was done with the running kids around thing. Guess not.

Bummer. Can you re-tap the threads in the valve body, rather than replace the whole thing?

it's a sunday. When they built the house they didn't put in shut off valves except for the whole house.
If I screw it up once it's apart, I'm really screwed.
I have to replace the cover plates anyways. so it won't be that much more money to do the whole thing just the annoyance.
I can sweat a pipe with the best of 'em so i'm not real worried about that.
I'm more disappointed that you can't by MAP gas anymore. Propane is ~1500° cooler.

I don't mind chainsawing, or electrical, but plumbing stuff is beyond me. I don't have soldering equipment and never done it, so if I screw it up, it's screwed forever. Good luck with all that stuff in your shower/sinks.

Crap. I'm totally screwed. I was hoping Bolton was going to ace that shower thing and I'd planned to invite him down for a beach vacation after he re-did my shower in the master bath. Can't win for losing.

Enjoyable evening with some friends including some S2000 friends. Fed bolton blue/jerry some pizza, hope we didn't mess up his delicate system.

One NE friend brought this great cake from a Chinese Bakery. Delicious and light dessert. A few of us had birthdays in July and August. The cake was in honor of the birthdays.

Jerry (Spokes Man) was over today and did an excellent job installing the lip/under spoiler and trunk spoiler on my '07 Laguna Blue. What a huge improvement. No photos yet.

I got the photos taken of my '05 Suzuka and have tried and failed, five times, to place an ad on AutoTrader.com. Each time I get to the end, with all the photos uploaded, the credit card info input and the description done, it comes up with some error message and says to try again in a few minutes.

Having the family over for grilled salmon this weekend. My MIL, my nephew and his friend, my stepsons, and my mother. It'll be the first time I get to see everyone since my surgery.

Next weekend Rori, my youngest stepson, and I are heading to Ikea to buy our new bedroom and dining room furniture,, and will probably order our living room furniture while we're there.
I probably won't be up to walking all over the huge store, so we're bringing along a wheelchair, just in case I run out of steam.

Heading up to Myrtle Beach to meet with my friend Rhonda for a little "gal time." Looking forward to it.
