It's a gorgeous place though. Fenced off dunes. Protect the dunes, protect the endangered birds that nest there.

That shot reminds me somewhat of my painting from last year. I still haven't started the Paris scene I want to do. I just started a restoration of a 1971 Artic Cat minibike. Always something.... Neat shot.

I like the painting, Dave!

Would you post some pics of the bike restoration? Maybe we need a RESTORE STUFF thread.

Jim, they only made these mini-bikes for three years (70-72) and parts are going to be very hard to come by, if at all. It could be a long one. I've had the bike for probably 20 years - I don't rush into things. The motivation is I never got it done for grandson #1. Maybe I can for grandson #2.

After thinking about it I've probably had the minibike 26 years.... where did it go. I can't find the fenders, etc.

Moar NE coastal high res pics, please. I have a house to decorate.

Incidentally, I don't know if you know this already, but Rori found a company that prints high res photos on canvas, to make photos look more like paintings. The name of the place escapes me at the moment, but I can get it from Rori if you want it.

You are welcome to this one if you want a full resolution file say the word ill keep you mind in our travels.

A few companies will do canvas I've been too cheap to spend the money. Afraid I won't be happy with it.

If any of you have a Polaris water heater, I am now an expert. After working on it for hours Friday and Saturday I gave up. The tech guys said there was a blockage, but I did everything I could to find and clear it. Finally had a plumber come out and after two hours he found a tube about 4 inches long in the middle of the air intake vents. The end of the tube had become corroded and/or blocked by something the size of a grain of sand. Cleaned it out, put it together and viola- hot water.

About 10 years ago my son Adam, then 9 years old, helped me paint the calipers on my S2000 silver.

This weekend I'm going to return the favor and help him paint the calipers on his Si red.
