This weekend I'll be waiting to hear how Raymo's grill repair went.

I believe Rick mentioned a sand castle building contest at a beach nearby. We may head over late Saturday afternoon to check it out. Time and weather permitting. We could also have a nice walk on the beach and catch dinner afterwards too.

Not sure what else is happening. Quiet weekend as of now.

For someone who's always suggesting they don't go out often, you are never home!

I'm trying to fix the water heater that quit. Burner wont come on. Have several other options before I throw in the towel and call a real plumber.

I'll stay home if you and Donna want to stop by.

We keep busy, mostly with local stuff, hanging out with friends, nothing too exciting. Rick can hardly remember the last time he jumped out of a plane on a weekend.

He only did that once.

That's true for most people, unless they have a parachute.

For the record we have nothing planned for the entire weekend. Your 'local' area has way more interesting things to see than ours. It's 120 miles for us to reach interesting small cities on Lake Michigan and the farms in between lack much excitement, although it has been a bumper crop year for really tall corn. We do have a county fair going but we can only take that every 10 years or so!

So +1 will be working on the yard and I will be working on the MG.

Piece of cake. Started around 7:30 and operational by 9:00. The hardest part was removing the right side burner table but that was much easier after Barb pointed out the two metal clips that were holding it from underneath.

The old burner tubes and drip bars were in bad shape. But they did last 11 years - gotta love Weber's workmanship.

Now to decide what to grill first.

Our local area is nice, love the proximity to ocean and small towns for sure. Sometimes we get a bit of "been there done that" feeling going, then Rick will find a new road to enjoy the S on. Time is limited on weekends with grandkid duty, yard work etc. Some crazy guy in my driveway has already washed two cars and is planning on doing the third.

I'm going shopping with my granddaughter.

Spending the weekend cleaning the S for next weekend's NASCAR Nationwide race at Mid-Ohio. We are doing the parade lap with the drivers. Patty and I may get a little bike ride also.

Checking out sand sculptures was a bust. Almost zero to see. One big blob in the sand looked like some kind of fish. I think Rick and I could have done that.

It's a gorgeous place though. Fenced off dunes. Protect the dunes, protect the endangered birds that nest there.
