Picking up a rental LOG SPLITTER at 3 pm and helping with a community LOG SPLITTING session this evening and extending into Sat afternoon!

The "victim" is the remains of a 100' tall oak tree that was taken down in a common area near the front of our home last December. Do you have any idea how many 18" long logs result from a tree that big

With all the major branches, it's a lot more than 100' divided by 1.5', Gene!

I thought I was going to sit on my butt and do nothing all weekend but my boss decided there was some research that needed to be done and that I was the right person for the job.

I'm hoping for a good storm to knock out the power.

Have fun Jerry I worked as a logger this winter and it gets old really fast. You should enjoy it though its nice to be helping out your community.

I save my log sections for when I'm all pissy and have an attitude and work it out on them.
great therapy.

Visiting with relatives this weekend, but hoping to snatch a little quiet beach time before we see them. Can't decide whether we'll go out to dinner or eat in. We'll see how it goes.

It's always more fun and less work to go out to eat. I vote for that.

Been at work since 0730. I am hoping to get every close for May today so I will not have to be in tomorrow.

Well, the good ole boys from NASCAR are here (well, nearby at Dover International Speedway), so that is one place I will not be going anywhere close to this weekend!

Summertime Saturday ritual, went out and mowed the lawn.
The burn spots from urine are starting to come back in and I can now come in the house without having to check my boots for dog poop.
