There will be a special showing of The Sands of Iwo Jima across the street at the Iwo Jima Memorial on Fri night. So I'm thinking we will go see that. Appears the weather will cooperate. Sat the +1 needs to bring some stuff of his son's from school, since he heads out on business travel next week and won't be back until shortly before his son leaves for the summer. The Caps play the Rangers that day in the playoffs, too. Sun we are going to a karate tournament where the two sons of friends will be competing. Then we are all going to brunch.

One of my favorite John Wayne (Sgt. Stryker) movies. Enjoy

Heading to Anna Maria Island for three or four days. The first real break from work I've had in quite some time.

It will be for me at some point too, I'm sure. That's kind of why I've been looking more seriously at them of late. If it's a car on my "want to have enjoyed owning before I die" list, then I should probably be making it happen sooner rather than later. Not that I *plan* to die soon, but at some point I will not be able to fold myself up into an origami swan to get in and out of the driver seat. And they aren't making them to sell in the US anymore either.

We'll be joining some friends in Key West for the songwriters festival. Some are good, some are bad and they all sound better with rum.

Flying out to dlq's area with my buddy and two others in his Beechcraft Bonanza to visit the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, MI. Leaving early Friday morning for the 3 hour flight and returning Sunday morning. We will be staying with his brother who lives in Fenton, MI. Looking forward to this trip and hope to take lots of pics.

Thanks, Lainey! I'm sure there will be some good photo-ops. Hey, Dave, if you see this, any other suggestions on sights to see, places to visit, etc?
