Odd, I remember that place.. sounds like it hasn't changed that much.

I've been working in S Carolina for the last year or so. I'm home for a couple of weeks then I'm up there for a week or two. Suppose to end in July then it's Tampa again..

My calender is a bit of a moving target until then. I'm game for anything we can work out..

Opening day at Watkins Glen race track tomorrow. Headed down with a group of SCCA friends for some parade laps of the track and a nice lunch out. We were hoping for a nice "topless" scenic drive down, but the prediction is for overcast skies and 47 degrees.

Will be at least partially quiet. The +1 had to go up to NJ since his dad is not well. Staying up there an extra day or so to get his parents' affairs in order - paperwork, etc. Making good progress, though.

We'll probably head up to Costco for hurricane supplies. Actually we'll probably buy evacuation supplies for the car in case we get stranded heading for the hills as we race out of here ahead of the storm (hopefully) MsP, since its a quiet weekend, maybe you can get the guest room ready for us if a big hurricane hits. We have nowhere else to go.

Well, we have two air mattresses, too. Didn't know there was a hurricane coming!

Ha ha you could have a guest room in Texas -- but there might be a storm there, too!

We don't know when one is coming, but we figure its better to be prepared just in case. We stock stuff up every year, but this year we decided to just get some things with really a really long shelf life that we just put in the pantry and keep for years. The restocking is a pain. This way we won't have to do that.

I'm up for Wildwood, or whatever that place is called.
It's the Democratic Republic of Bongo Fury.

The Sirata's nice. What dates? I'm going to be in Maine unti 8/12, then I'm back to work around 8/25.
Mmm I like Bongo Fury. I wish you guys would invite me along on this.

Spent this morning tarpon fishing. Had a couple hook ups but the tarpon were smarter than me.

Probably fish all week and through the weekend. We're thoroughly enjoying the end of a very successful season. We intend to loaf until next October. It's like a really long weekend.
