Matt is going to visit his Mom for Easter. He is leaving in a week. Just me and the cats to roll Easter eggs.

I'm going to see a friend for a few days but I'll be back home on Saturday. Sunday is a big (31 cars so far) NSX drive in Malibu. Can't miss that. I have another friend staying in my house while I'm gone.

Last week I opened my little garage door just in time to see a young woman jump the fence across the street coming out of the backyard. After watching the woman and then talking to the homeowner, it seems the house was being cased. First the woman knocked on the front door, which the homeowner didn't answer, and then the homeowner heard the woman in the backyard, so she looked around. She never knew the girl was there until I called her after I saw her drive off, and told her about it. I called the sheriff who talked to us both, too and came out to look around.

I now have wooden dowels in my three glass sliders. Should have done that years ago, anyway.

Wow. that's scary. Take care of yourself. Costco sells surveliance (sp) stuff. Maybe it is time to think about installing some.

That's creepy stuff, Patty. Home security systems are not overly expensive and just may save your life AND your stuff.

With the drug problems we have today, seems no place is safe. Funny, but one of the nice things about living in an older sub is we have a fair number of retirees and there's a lot of eyes watching over the area throughout the day and night. And a stranger really stands out. So far we have been problem free.

My local British car group is doing a drive/picnic to Ravine Gardens in Palatka FL tomorrow. The rest of the weekend will be doing yard work and a couple of small repair jobs. New belt for the riding lawn mower, etc.

Warmer weather tomorrow so the "drill sgt" (affectionate name for Kathy, when she's "in the groove") has directed that we WILL rake up leaves/ branches in the yard and bring out the patio furniture

TONIGHT we take a docent-led tour of the new Barnes Foundation building, with more Impressionist artwork than just about anywhere in the world.

Heading to Phoenix. Don't expect to rise from any ashes though. Lots of walking while there.

It's Spring Break here. I suspect we'll go to the Lani Kai on Ft Myers Beach and enjoy the party.

That's always a good time. There's lots to see.....
