Well, I cancelled our trip to AZ for Fri. Just too much uncertainty about power here. We were supposed to go for my nephew's wedding, but that was cancelled, too, about three weeks ago. Maybe he knew something!

Nah, you are much happier in SC. This weekend I will be holding down the fort. The +1 is headed to NJ to his parents' neighborhood with relief supplies. We have a lot of stuff left over here and will get more when he talks to his mother. A very good decision to cancel our trip out west.

Yep, we've both decided being here has been good for us. I agree it was good you cancelled your trip, although I know you were looking forward to it. Glad you're back home and very sad about Vito's parents.

Quiet weekend, I think. Ryan's last soccer game on Saturday. He's really enjoyed it. I told him I'd make cookies (from a mix of course 
)so he can share them with his teammates.

Heading down South tomorrow to attend Homecoming at my alma mater, NC State University, in Raleigh. Friday will be an open house at the School of Engineering, which has been completely moved from when I attended. (I really feel 
) Saturday, going to try to make a Cars &Coffee with some S2KCA peeps before the football tailgate, then go to the game and watch the Wolfpack beat Virginia. It has been at least 20 years since I have visited the campus, so I am prepared for some substantial changes, since the school has really grown.
