Spent the past couple/rainy stormy days trying to get music organized on my ipod. Pain in the rear! I had about a 150 cds that I wanted to load which takes some time but I've loaded all I plan to load for a while. Back when I got it last year I put all our classical and jazz cds on it which took me two days. Had a bunch of stuff left that I figured I'd get to maybe in the winter. Now I've gotten all the new age, native american, etc stuff on. Still haven't loaded the pop and rock stuff nor have I loaded my holiday music. That'll have to wait. We may not be rockin' around the Christmas tree unless I get it on.

Just got back from a little bike ride. I'm still breaking it in. We did 80 miles or so. We went to Marco Island, Hors Island and Goodland, all nice little island towns. We drove it part way back on the Tamiami trail and then we tried it out on Alligator Alley at freeway cruising speed. It behaved perfectly at 80mph.

I need to get the S2k out for some exercise for sunset.

I kicked ass on the ElliptiGO today. Normally, I average under 14.0 mph for my 33.5 miles. I tried putting my foot farther back today, and ended up averaging 14.6 mph. Huh. By putting my foot farther back I use more muscle just under the butt cheek instead of quads. Must have more power and I think I use gravity to my favor. Time to shower and hit the beach BBQ. Oh, it was 73* when I started at 8 AM and 89 when I finished. Not too bad, yet.

Nice pics...lovely foliage. I wish the +1 had seen more when running up in the Adirondacks over the weekend. Rain put a damper on the proceedings. I got all the gory details about some of the team members' behavior. Goes to show you no good deed goes unpunished. Any of you who have organized meets or anything else know what I'm talking about. Anyhoo, he'll run races from now on but no more organizing for him!

Michael's had a lot of Fall wreaths. My mom loved the one I got for her. This weekend will be quiet. Just realized it's a long one! Great. Need to take advantage of these while they last. HAHA...my sis and bro show up next week for a few days.

Fairly quiet weekend coming up. The +1's son is coming over to our place to stay a couple of nights. Some issues at school. The +1 thinks he needs a break. Could be the last semester up here. But then I said that last semester.

We have a fishing tourney this coming weekend. 10K Showdown. Snook, redfish and sea trout. Winner take all.
Most inches each species, only 3 biggest fish count.
We'll go out and spot on Friday, tourney is all day Saturday.

Wish us luck
