Ellen, it's a slow time of year for us as well. Outside of an occasional dinner with friends and some family gatherings, it's a long winter.

Rick is putting the S to bed this weekend. He's picking it up at the body shop today at lunch, getting the oil changed, and on the holiday this week (I'm working, he's not) he'll clean it up and cover it.

Maybe I need another ticker to count down the days until we're back out there again.....

I hate this time of year Especially now that it's dark earlier.

139 days until my next official S event

I think I have an easier time with it getting dark earlier than getting up when it's dark.

Just count down the days until 12/21/10. Then the days start getting longer again.

It's kind of wishing your life away, but hey, whatever works for you.

We went to a car show yesterday. One good thing (for me at least) is that when it becomes darker earlier I sleep a lot better. have no idea why, but its always been that way.

^I slept pretty darn good last night, too. I like it getting dark earlier because it moves up my exercise times and gives me more time before bed.

My son is coming with his girlfriend on Friday. He's in some kind of competition (programming?) on Saturday, and my house is less than an hour away from it. He's bringing his honey and the good cat. I'll be happy to have them here.

^Last time they were here was July 27th.

Hmmm...great day trip to Cambridge today by train, with 3 hour walking tour and capped off by the Evansong by the Kings College choir. Tomorrow evening we'll see Jersey Boys in Covent Gdn area...go figure!

Getting tired of London...leaving on Saturday for a week in Egypt.
