Think I will hit up the (relatively) local Cars & Coffee again tomorrow. I went last weekend and took the NSX, and really enjoyed it. I can't remember if I posted the picture link from then, but in case I didn't, here is one that one of the other attendees posted:

^I'll be heading to my local Cars and Coffee, too. I haven't gone in 3 weeks between it not happening one Sat, going to S2KDAYS and going to Kennedy Meadows. Took the NSX to the beach Wed night, so I guess it should be wiped down again.

Today headed for a Greek festival over in McLean, where my mom lives. Might take her something. Then it's watching the Nats game. They are on fire again! I was going to the pool, but probably won't get there. I have not been once this summer. Just too hot. Tomorrow we head to the Nats/Cards game. Mon I want to go to the zoo to see the newly opened sea lion/otter/wolf exhibit. I love the zoo. Also, the +1 needs to go out to GMU to take some stuff to his son. Glad I'm not on the road this weekend. We may get some remnants from Isaac tomorrow and Mon to put a damper on the proceedings. Boo...

To my surprise since we're not country music fans, we'll be going to a Garth Brooks Tribute show at the Grand Theatre this evening. The impersonator is an acquaintance and the promoter a friend, so we'll be front and center. I don't even know a song Garth Brooks sings, but I guess we'll find out. It'll be fun.

I know one "Friends in Low Places". And he's not talking about the Low Country.

Have fun, Val. Friends in low places can be fun folks!

Started my weekend with a 4.5 mile walk. No Zumba today, Y is closed for annual maintenance. The grandkids will be here shortly, pool is set up, Mom is coming for lunch.

Will enjoy the holiday weekend and great weather too!

^How was it Valentine? I used to love Garth Brooks and saw him in concert twice. I still like his music. Cover bands can be great. Jerry and I saw one that did the Eagles stuff and really enjoyed them.

The show was fantastic and we really had a good time. The Garth impersonator was a total dead ringer. It was fun and we're both glad we went.
