Says you. Sounds like a great car weekend, Dave. I do enjoy car weekends, myself.

Just back from 10 days in Oregon on Sunday...rendezvous w/HS friends from OR, FL and PA. Home for a few days to pay bills and other details before : We head up to Ithaca NY on Fri am for a long weekend.

Repeating my mantra: How did I have time to work?

Looking fwd to driving the S on some backroads in upstate PA and NY; and visiting friends from my college days

Looks like I'll be preparing for a cane. It's been a couple years so it's time to make sure everything is in place in case we have to button up for it.

I'm checking my list.

PS Hopefully it will go to the South but a lot of forecast programs have it running right up the East Coast.

Another busy weekend. Even though I hate to see the end of the official summer I'm looking forward to a three day weekend. So much needs to be done. Busy, busy it seems!

This weekend, we are on kid duty on Saturday. Sunday afternoon is Ryan's 6th birthday party. In the evening he will be sleeping over (daughter in law and granddaughter have plans, son is working)and I'm having a little gathering for him with my Mom (she can't make the birthday party) along with my sister and brother in law.

So it's a kid weekend with some grown up time in between.

Where did the summer go????????

Not the weekend but I'm taking a comp day tomorrow. Software upgrades can be a real pain in the database.

Rob and I are taking the NSX over to New Orleans to the recently opened N.O. Motorsports Park where Rob will check off one of his bucket list items. (His words, not mine. He's starting young.) He'll do a few laps in an Ferrari 458 Italia with Exotic Driving Experience.

I might do a few laps in their Porsche "997 S" if it isn't booked. Or I might do a ride-along with one of the pro drivers. Be a good opportunity to get the old urinary system flushed out.

The 1.8 mile north track where the event will be run is a pretty open loop that includes a 3000' straight and some "ultra-high-speed sweepers". Wonder how much the 458 can put on the speedo in that distance.

That sounds like a really good time. Put the pedal to the metal.

Have Fun
