^ Thank you both. It's going to be a rather somber birthday this year. I lost my Black Lab, Maya, Tuesday. So, I'm "celebrating" my birthday this year by keeping busy.

I'm so sorry for your loss of Maya, Dean. Keeping busy is the way I try to deal with things too. It tends to quiet down the unending thoughts that invade my mind. I try to think on this:
But I don't want to go among mad people," Alice remarked.
Oh, you can't help that," said the Cat: "we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad."
How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice.
You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn't have come here.”
and this:
If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is, because everything would be what it isn't. And contrary wise, what is, it wouldn't be. And what it wouldn't be, it would. You see?

Sorry about your doggie, Dean.

We just got back from Cars and Coffee in Great Falls, VA. WOW...what a bunch of gorgeous cars - must have been about 300 of them. Amazing...I thought maybe because of Memorial Day, there might be not that many. WRONG!! I'm going to start a separate thread for all the pics I took. I was in front of a Shelby on the way over, and a beautiful green vintage Porsche. The ride out is so nice, too. Lots of woods.

Along with 7 of my flying buddies, taking two airplanes to Bowling Green, KY, on Sunday to visit the Corvette Museum

Then on Monday, we plan to take the factory tour of the Corvette manufacturing plant, and return to Delaware in the afternoon. Just hope we don't encounter any thunder-boomers en-route.

Any of the OKI members have any dinner suggestions for Sunday night? Or, a possible meet-up?

Have fun, Gene. Quiet weekend here. No kid duty. I'll hit my Zumba class on Saturday AM, then if weather is lousy I'm always in need of some new clothes. Haven't had much luck on last few outings, guess I'll head to the mall. Belated birthday celebration dinner for Rick with some long time friends on Saturday night. Sunday is up in the air, weather not looking too great for Sunday either.

I've driven by it many times but never have had the spare time to stop. Enjoy.
