If past performance is any indication, I figure it will take me about a month to finish everything, once I have all the materials in hand. I've already got the cabinets built, the wiring rerouted, and the old backsplash and counter tops removed. I'm waiting on the granite and flooring. I have the ceiling tiles, so I'll probably be taking down the old ceiling tomorrow.
Why do a see a trip to the ER in your future? Be careful with those do it yourself projects. You and tools, manual and power seem to have issues.

Rick had a great crop of flowering pink vincas, (not a vine), very hard to grow inside according to our local green house. The other plants are not quite flowering, so it takes a few weeks for the yard to look pretty. I'll be taking to share along the way.

Looking forward to a totally unproductive weekend:

Yeee---haw.

Sandy is the Country fan. This is a Christmas present for her. Something she's always wanted to attend. Two days of Country fun in Baton Rouge, LA. Not exactly in my musical wheelhouse. But I did purchase a hat.

And a family reunion near Nashville this summer. They're gonna turn me into a boot wearin', PBR drinkin' country boy yet!

The +1 has decided she wants a vegetable garden this year.
The spot she has picked out has about a 2 foot grade drop from edge to edge so someone ( gee I wonder who ) will get to build up a retaining wall of some sort to support it.
Thanks goodness that BJ's warehouse sells those 500 count bottles of ibuprofen.

I have no plans except probably the Irvine Cars and Coffee on Saturday. Maybe this would be a good weekend to clean and re-stain my teak table and chairs. Advil and a back brace will be required.

Donna's been working non-stop on the flower gardens since we returned....... it's her personal Spring Fling each year.

I do seem to have a reputation.

I'm doing my best to avoid crippling myself. This weekend happens to be the anniversary of shattering my knee. I had to promise my students I would return next week in one piece.

I recall that. There were a few of us keeping the health care professionals busy at that time. I believe you are also celebrating a birthday too.
