How in the world did I miss this!! I would have broken Mike's ankle for a chance to drive the yard.

This weekend we are meeting with folks, many of whom we haven't seen in four years! We will have lots of fun and laughs! This weekend will be much better than the one that is ending tonight.

I have driven it a couple times. The first time was, OMG can it be that long ago, 30 years ago! Then again, 7 years later. Until you drive it you can never appreciate how narrow, tight, and difficult it is. It IMHO is the most difficult circle track in the world given the speeds the Indy cars drive it. Nothing else comes close.

Oh how true a statement that is...Dave !!! After the drive, we stayed on to watch a couple of hours of the practice rounds... ...and just to think, that I just came off that track What a humbling feeling....
...and I have been told,by a few, that driving cars around tracks, is "NO" sport...
Well...I have driven Nascar type cars around a track, and the G-Forces, heat, and concentration puts you almost over the edge...I can't even imagine, driving the open wheels @ 230 mph...around that track by myself, let alone 32 others being by my side
It was an amazing experience, that I will "NEVER" forget,...and I will be sure to do it again next year....

Well... Will be meeting up with a few of our good friends in Hagerstown, MD! After celebrating my mother's 90th birthday on Fri with my bro and sis, who are flying in for this momentous occasion. See some of y'all Sat PM, after our excursion to Antietam.
