I get to spend the entire weekend working in the desert at our AZ facility. Oh joy!

Lunch will be in downtown Hagerstown at a very neat restaurant. Really looking forward to seeing everyone at Spring Fling!
Another fun practice session today. The modifications Ken made to the route proved to be spot on. I was appointed "leader" since Ken couldn't be there, and I only made one wrong turn. On some of the roads, we should pray that we don't meet any traffic from the opposite direction, as there are no shoulders, and the width is one lane, at best! But, there are some very nice twisties and some (ahem) exhilarating straight stretches, as well.

You guys sure are practicing a lot. This weekend I'm going to a Nats/Phillies game. Not with the +1 and his son (it looks like), since he will probably be stuck in WI on biz. So I'm taking a couple of my friends instead. The Nats sold tix to the series only to locals (or tried to) because of all the rowdy Phillies fans dominating the proceedings in the past. We'll see how many are there.

I have an overnight with the grandchildren on Friday. I think I will bring them, along with a pizza and salad and visit Mom for supper. She'll enjoy the company I'm sure.

Saturday we have a play date with my friend and her grandchildren. Saturday after they go home, I will take a deep breath, (maybe a nap) and Rick and I will go out for a quiet dinner.

I'm sure I'll need that.

Heading down to North Carolina for my 50[sup]th[/sup] high school reunion. I expect there will be a lot of old people there, but not me!

Our principal was supposed to come, but he had another engagement, and can't make it. He just turned 90! One of my classmates sent me a newspaper article about him. In the article, it was noted that he was a Naval aviator during WWII, flying off of aircraft carriers. In the 4 years I went to school there, I never knew that. Wish I could talk to him about his experiences.

Heading to an MGA meet/drive. I expect to be on the road at least 5 hours. A good shake-down cruise before SF.

I'm thinking I probably ought to get the S2000 ready for a trip.
