So much for the beach today. It's cloudy and rainy here. So, I'm shopping online for invisible dog fencing. I don't want to mention any names, but someone around here has learned how to tunnel under the chain link fence.

As I mentioned I was going to take in a few "Drive-Ins" this weekend. (No Dave that does not mean drive-in movies). Today at the one at the Burger King in Manassas, VA there was a fairly interesting assortment of vehicles as well as the "usual suspects". But this F-85 got my attention, for several reasons. It is a station wagon and apparently the owner has fairly low expectations of what a restoration is (Note the sticker in the back window)

My granddaughter Ally had mentioned she had gone on some walking trails with a school group, and in honor of Earth Day, they picked up trash left in the woods by people I call pigs. I told her if she wanted to pick up trash, that her brother and I saw plenty in the woods last week when we went for a walk. So she invited a friend over, I took them all to lunch, and then we hit the woods. We filled two trash bags and a styrofoam cooler we found in the woods with plastic bottles, coffee cups, and assorted trash left by those who don't care about nature.

Last night dinner at the local ale house with some friends, back to our place for laughs and billiards. Today I'm sneaking into Mom's while she is out to do a bit of cleaning, and we're puttering around the yard too.

Maybe a late afternoon top down drive if weather holds.

BUSY! BUSY!

Oh and we had seen a couple of ducks last week, so we brought some bread for them. Here's the pretty one.

My bro arrives Thurs for a long weekend. He will be going with us to a farewell party for a couple of the +1's Navy buds, and maybe meet up with some friends after. Watching Caps playoffs, too.

LOL sorry I posted this before I was complety awake this morning! It was held at kringle candle in bernadston Mass. about 70 miles from me. I STILL don't have the mondial as the dmv has totally screwed up the registration on the car and it is like pulling teeth to get it straighened out, so I took the S which worked out perfect since it was a bright sunny day. This was my first cars and coffee so I thought you just park your car and everyone checks out each others cars but they judged the cars and gave out a trophy for best import and best domestic. A 1960 MGA won best import and a 69 chevelle won best dom. They had some really neat cars there such as a 458,599, mclaren, slr my favorite was a 993tt.

Glad you had fun. We got out in the S for a bit yesterday. It felt good. Rick took it to work today for an inspection sticker. A good day to use the S for the ride to work. It's gorgeous out there!
