Oh a new toy! How is your mother in law?

I hope we have some fun this weekend, this past one was a bust. I think I need to make some plans.

^ She's home and doing a bit better. We go through this almost on a monthly basis, unfortunately. Last month it was a blocked renal artery that needed a shunt. Last week it was gastritis, angina, and I have no idea what else triggered the hypertensive crisis. She's currently taking twenty seven prescription meds daily, if you can believe it.

Not the weekend but early Monday morning, think I'll drive 10 hours to NC so that I can spend all next week driving 11 miles a couple times a day. I'm headed to the Dragon on Monday. This is going to be a L-O-N-G weekend.

Fairly quiet weekend coming up. The +1 will be doing some stuff to start clearing out his son's dorm room. He leaves for TN the middle of May to live and go to school there.

Still playing "catch up" around the house and yard. Need to go condo!

The original Sunday forecast sounded like it would be "S" weather, the updated forecast, not so much.

We'll play it by ear I guess.

Edit: Just found out a friend's band is playing Saturday at the local ale house that Rick enjoys. The band is pretty good. Maybe we'll plan dinner there on Saturday night.

I think we're off to the beach this weekend for some fishing. There may also be a "Breaking Bad" marathon taking up most of Sunday; accompanied by lots of unhealthy finger foods.
