Home alone this weekend. Eating anchovy pizza and drinking ginger ale. I also have about two pounds of chocolate and a Key Lime pie in the fridge.

HBD, MsP.

Thanks...key lime pie - yum. One more month and I'll be in key lime paradise!

Well...a fabulous dining experience from start to finish! At Plume at the Jefferson Hotel downtown DC - very elegant. The hotel is a Beaux Arts building from 1923 and lovely. Everything was wonderful - food, service, ambience, etc, etc. The +1 casually mentioned my birthday but I didn't think the waiter even heard him. Then, at the end of dinner, out came this thing that looked like a giant candle. The waiter lit it and a sparkler/firework shot up about a foot and burned for at least a minute. It was amazing. I've never seen anything like it indoors!

Sounds like a great dinner, Deb. Glad you enjoyed.

Busy weekend this weekend. Mom's party, lots of family time, grandkids will be staying over on Friday night. As of now, I don't have next Monday off (it's a holiday, but not one I get), maybe that will change as I'm sure I'd appreciate an extra day to the weekend.

This weekend is the +1's son's birthday. His mother and her bf are flying up for it. I will not be present. Plan to go out to the campus once the dust settles. Long weekend, which will be nice.

Sounds great, Deb.
We have the grandkids on Saturday and the usual catch up around the house stuff to do. We've got some folks coming over for a chicken parm dinner on Saturday evening that will be fun.

Sunday is still open.

Get a window seat and watch for me. I'll be waving as you fly over.

Today starts Spring Break for me, right after I give the last of my midterms this afternoon. I'm thinking that some fishing might be in order next week. And I've found another Florida island getaway that I want to check out - Anna Maria Island. It looks promising.

I'm state Chairman for the MGA club. Saturday is our one & only business meeting of the year. I try to keep it low key, fast moving, and hopefully have taken care of any big issues before hand. So far 49 people have signed up, so it will be a house full.
