So sorry.

Thanks to all for the good wishes. I just got back from the vet's office. Wallace turned fifteen and a half yesterday. It was his time; his body was worn out.
Today is one of those very few days I find myself wishing I drank.

I feel for you, Dean. A great dog is not as easy to come by as I would have thought.

I can cry still in a second when I think of my beloved dog Kyras who died on Dec. 7, 1999. He was only 8.

This weekend we may check out a new BBQ joint with some friends. It's time to put up my little Christmas tree and still doing catch up stuff around the house. Much doesn't get done in the better weather, and when we have Saturday duty with the grandchildren. The dust bunnies must die!

Attending a Christmas party at one of my neighbor's. Fortunately I only have to hobble across the street to get there. It'll be fun.

Dean, sorry to see the loss. I know last year when I had to do the same. I had mine for 14 years before she started going down. Could not see her suffering.

Dean and Vyk: please accept my heartfelt condolences. Anyone who has lost a long-term pet understands what it means.
