Weekend starts early. Plans aren't final but hopefully meeting SC brother in law for dinner tomorrow. Both Rick and I are off Friday. I have plenty to do, have to decide which tasks I'll take on. Not fun stuff, cleaning at our house, and my Mom's apartment needs some work. She can't do what she used to, so my sis and I are planning to do some major cleaning while she is gone to SC. She leaves Friday AM with my brother in law.

Saturday is time with grandkid and my friend and her grandchildren. Maybe dinner at the local ale house Saturday night.

Not sure what else. I'm sure the three day weekend will fly by!

Well this weekend is the FLA S2k Mega Meet in Sanford FL. Looking forward to seeing everyone. Hope some of my Vintage friends will be there.

Had a fun dinner with my SC brother in law last night. We used to spend a lot of time with him and my sister. After dinner, Rick, my brother in law and I headed over the the Hampton Inn where he was staying and had a nice visit. It's been too long since we had seen him, but yet it seemed like yesterday. He headed back to SC this AM with my Mom.

Tonight I'm feeling my age. I decided to jump into the cleaning at Mom's house. Her vision is not that good, and I guess she's just not seeing some of the usual kitchen spots and spills that need cleaning. Her little galley kitchen surfaces and appliances needed a good once over. A local sis joined me and we accomplished quite a bit. Did the bathroom too. I'm beat! I scrubbed so much my hands hurt tonight.

Looks like the dust bunnies in my house will get a reprieve. I've done enough cleaning for the weekend.

We're thinking about going down to visit a working plantation tomorrow that has a very nice tea room where we'll grab lunch. The ceiling repairman will be working on the lr ceiling this weekend too. I'll be glad when I can clean my house.
