I can't decide between taking the S for one last nice weather drive Sunday, or using that nice weather to detail it and store it.
We've got the same issue. The oil is getting changed on the S tomorrow. It may get cleaned and covered over the weekend. However, our storage routine is rather minimal, so we may delay the detail/covering. +1 is not too concerned if we put a few miles on the fresh oil before we park it for the winter. We've also been known to sneak it out from under cover from time to time over the winter, if weather permits.
Lainey - If the weather is going to be good, drop the top and enjoy it. Hoping the weather will be nice went I get up there Nov 19th for the week. Hope to get to see the group while there. Vic

We'll see what Rick prefers. He's the one who has to deal with getting the car washed and covered while it's still warm out.

Vyk, what is your schedule? I think you are traveling back home on the Saturday after Thanksgiving?

I will be flying back to Florida the Saturday Nov 26th. I will give you and Rick a call when I get up there. I have your numbers from last year; did you changed you cell and home numbers since last year?

Same numbers. You're staying in Auburn, right? Maybe we can try for something on the Friday after Thanksgiving, somewhere in the middle. Not sure of folks' schedule for that weekend, but I'll ask around. Have a safe trip.

Edit: What time do you arrive on 11/19? Is dinner a possibility that evening? I started a thread in NE. We'll see who's available. It could be a tough weekend due to the holiday, but we'll see.

MG meet.... home made chili, fresh cider, and other goodies. However, with a high forecasted at 51-degrees I may think twice about taking the MG.

Quiet weekend, well I should say that. I'll say no real plans. Grandkids coming over for a sleep over tonight. We'll spend the day with them tomorrow. Dinner somewhere tomorrow night.

I put the top up tonight - first time since a really bad storm a couple months ago - so it's ready, if the wife can deal with it.

Going to Summit Point Motorsports Park on Sunday to join the Mid-Atlantic folks and the folks from NASA at their fall finale to participate in the Touring Laps in memory of Cale Kastanek #57 to benefit his foundation.

I've got a homelite which is OK. Mostly use it for yard cleanup of the bigger downed branches.
for a couple of my trees I'm fairly sure I need the pro's to come in.
The crown is broken up pretty badly on one of my big oaks.
3 or 4 widowmakers are still hanging on that didn't quite break free.
The oak's trunk is about 8 feet from my deck, I'm not screwing with it.
My wife told me so.
maybe I should concoct a story about using my climbing gear and getting some ankle climbing spikes like the linemen use....

Went bowling with the bro last night. Tonight we are going out to play pool at a sports bar and watch the LSU-Alabama and Caps games. Headed out shortly to walk to the farmers market and have breakfast.
