Got together with a few S2000 folks for a gathering. We had a Legal Bill sighting!

We hosted a small non exciting drive. We never expect any real on a drive, as we are in highly residential areas, but we had "pace cars" today that were often going below the speed limit. A Volvo, a VW Bug, a Lexus and a truck. Never have we had to deal with so many slow cars. Took some of the fun out of the drive, but we still had plenty of fun later on back at the house.

Can't believe it's Labor Day weekend!

Matt! Glad to hear from you. How do you like long distance driving? Have you been staying awake or fighting it? You're in a place I've never been. Where are you going next?

I'll be spending most of today cleaning and preparing for a guest. One of Jim's forevah friends is coming to stay a while in a few days. Tomorrow I'll probably finish up with the cleaning and laundry because Wednesday I have to cook for a picnic I'm attending at one of those beautiful old beach houses on Pawley's Island with a gaggle of women. Looking forward to the picnic, not looking forward to cleaning and laundry.

Val, I'm in a bit of cleaning mode myself today. A little yard pick up after a gathering last night, and then for more fun, I'm the "raking girl" while Rick trims some shrubs.

Still better than working though!

Matt, enjoy the trip.

After a very hectic August, September is starting out more slowly. This weekend should be a fairly quiet one. The +1 is not traveling (supposedly) in the month of Sept, so that is good. Except for my dad's burial at the end of the month and peeps visiting then, calm should prevail. Working estate stuff, but that has calmed down considerably, also.

I am going to vacuum today, as well. I feel better about cleaning the house knowing my Vintage sisters are doing the same thing.

I lied. I never did vacuum and I'm still not done with weights. I'm getting there.

Spokes Man, I hope your hands aren't hurting too much.

Thanks, Patty. My arthritic hands are doing okay (with meds), and it's just the index finger on my right hand that gets stressed from over-working when detailing cars...which I've done a lot of this weekend (two complete cars plus a trunk lid/spoiler). However the guys were very happy with the results, so that made me happy.
Happy? I'll bet they were! Jerry-ized cars are sparkly.
