Parents are up from R.I. visiting me through Mon. Were going for a ride today then out to eat and having a cookout tomorrow.

On vacation. My weekend lasts 9 days this time! Today we walked our feet off in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. Took a Hippo Boat tour. Similar to the Duck Boat tours you see in Boston or other cities. That was fun. Tried some local fish chowder at lunch and it was very good.
Walked about, took
lots of nice old historic buildings, houses, flowers, etc.
Going to some kind of light show this evening, and to a brew house for dinner.
Tomorrow we hit the road again for some ocean scenery and we'll check into the little cottage on the beach tomorrow night.
Weather has been very iffy. They promised us sun today, but we had a lot of clouds. It's 5:00 PM here and the sun is just coming out.
Rest of the week looks OK, but high percentage of rain/showers every day. They've not had great summer weather up here.

Lainey. If you find yourself looking for something to do one night on PEI, try this: Celtic Concert. Bea and I went on our visit back in 2007, and since they serve wine, it wasn't so bad! 
In fact, it now looks much better based on their website.
