What are you doing this coming weekend?

Just back from the dance recital. We'd rather eat broken glass than attend these things, however we Ally, so we sat through three hours of it. Would have left after she was done, but she got a trophy for five year participation at the end of the show, so we hung around.
Tomorrow, a few yard things, then taking it easy. I enjoyed just sitting in the yard reading for a while today. The flowers are really starting to bloom and the yard looks good.
Back to work on Monday.

West Chester, PA, just west of Philly. I think you are on the opposite side of the state. Map
Some nice cars showed up today, including another black '05 NSX. I'll post photos later.

Well, I hadn't realized how blatantly anti-Semitic The Merchant of Venice is. I definitely know more now about Shylock. The production was good, though. It was set in modern times - the roaring 20s. Seeing them spouting Shakespeare in suits, etc. was different.
This weekend is the 4th of course. The +1 will be in Jax a couple of days this week to do some kid-related stuff. Recruiting office for his son and checking out a program for his daughter. Back Sat. We are going to the Nats/Pirates game on Sun. The Nats are the hottest team in baseball! Who would have thunk it. On the 4th, we will be watching those great fireworks on the National Mall from our balcony, as usual. It doesn't get old.

After being without the MG for almost a year we are heading out today for a few days on Put in Bay - a party island in Ohio. I've replaced the cylinder head, windshield, and installed cruise. After the shake-down run Saturday I ended up replacing the generator, voltage regulator, and battery. Hopefully, all is well now. But 50 year old cars are always an adventure and it begins in a couple minutes. Wish me luck.
