You use a squid jig. No glory yesterday. Too foggy to go far. Looks bad today as well.

Looks good, Mike.

Yard work is on the agenda the next two weekends. A bit of clean up in the flower beds this weekend and LOTS of planting next weekend, hoping weather cooperates. I'd hate to have to leave Rick home from SF because he didn't finish the yard work.

I hear what you are saying, Dave about the edges and mowing. Our front lawn is a real PIA to mow. We have the walkway to the front porch two trees, a light post and another section with some shruba. It's not fancy but the area isn't large and there is a lot of walking around to get around "stuff" when mowing. Some adjustments may be made down the line........

Yeppers..... will be making more rounded edges when we get done with the planting and digging the trench (or whatever you call it!) around the beds.

Thanks Lainey....

Picked up a Sonic Bloom Red Weigela, and am still looking for a few of the smaller Spireas. That with some annuals will finish the back for now...

Then onto the front of the house!

I’ll be in Phoenix, AZ and Palm Springs, CA with my wife and in-laws the remainder of this week while visiting other in-laws. I’m not certain how I’ll do with a five days of visitation with those in which I have nothing in common, plus they are house bound. Sadly, I don’t golf anymore…maybe I can do some desert hiking…or something.

Riding in my 3rd Grand Fondo bike ride out of Wilmington. 62 miles of nasty hills through beautiful chateau country. The pros from the Grand Prix race on saturday will lead the ride. Then disappear like Ferrari's.
