^Sounds like paradise to me. I'm sure you'll have a nice campfire going.

Bay Area S2k BBQ Saturday morning, then heading up to Drake's Barrel House for beers with friends. Sunday, Joy and I are heading to Alcatraz to see the Ai Wei Wei art installation, then getting some fancy-pants brunch at $$$ SF prices.

I am hoping to leave my recliner and the boxes of tissues aside after being a recliner potato and dealing with the nasty head cold. I hope to get back to the Y on Saturday. We also will have some kid duty. Saturday night we may scope out a restaurant with lots of beers on taps. It's in the city where I need to report for Jury Duty next week. I need to check out the parking situation. I'm so hoping I'm NOT needed to do my civic duty. Right now the case being heard in that court is the Aaron Hernandez (former NE Patriot) trial. Glad I wasn't called for that one.

Good Luck with that Lainey. I got called once for a gang related murder in Trenton. Luckily, got excused after I was in the jury box. Whew!!!

Friday night I'm headed to Mom's to help unpack her Passover kitchen back to boxes and bring in all the regular stuff to the kitchen.

Saturday, heading to Philly to participate in their annual Dart Tournament to benefit Holy Terror STARS - a local sports program for Autistic youth. Hoping to see 100+ in the hall, and $10K raised.

Sunday - nothing on the plans - hoping for nice weather to at least get outside a little.

Yes, Fall River, Robb. I'm a lucky girl. Rick had jury duty today. Isn't it odd how they get ya, but say they don't use voting lists.

Yup I had it a couple of years ago. Had to travel an hour away in the winter each way.
You are smart to check out where it is ahead of time I can remember going to Fall River a few times with my Dad to pick up stuff for his job and it was pretty confusing getting around.

One of the advantages of being well-informed: " oh yes your honor, I followed the case in great detail. I have to admit it looks pretty bad for that guy."

I wonder what the constitution of the United States would look like if we wrote it from scratch today? I'm guessing that trials would be conducted by the media reporters on TV. Anyone who cared to tune in would be the jury. They would just use their remote to vote. "Press 1 if guilty...."
