The next time that I see you please treat me (I hope) to a sample. Now that I know that you prefer the same brand of Gin that I do, it will be interesting to see how it stacks up?

I asked Mom if I could keep doing it until I needed glasses 55 here today, heading out for a bike ride.
Happy Birthday, Ray! Aquarians are the best! I was 57 on Jan. 29th, and my daughter was 28 on Feb. 6th, so I know these things.
Patty! I'm sure Ray appreciates your birthday wishes, but he meant it is 55 degrees here (he lives about 45 miles south of me) today. He is my age. (And you know how old I am!!!)

Well, he'll probably be happy you took a few years off.

Took a few more things out of my mother's house. Still have a couple of things to remove this next weekend using the +1's car, then I'm done. There is a LOT of stuff for the liquidators to take care of. A shame to see all of it go, but life has moved on for my mother (and the family, too).

FYI...some of you may be interested in the 40-years-of-Saturday-Night-Live special on Sun 2/15 at 8 on NBC.

Ended up not tasting any this past weekend so I have nothing to report at this time. At some point I'm sure I will. I picked up a package of IKEA shot glasses so I can pour small tastes side by side for best comparison.

As far as treating you a sample, I am happy to do that and return the favor of your hospitality in Hood River. I've heard a rumor that Honda Homecoming might be sometime in September.

Valentine's Day this weekend. We generally eat out on Saturday nights, (date night), but avoid restaurants like the plague on Valentine's Day. Crowded, lousy service, etc. Maybe we just need to go to a higher class place? Nah....

I think we have a couple friends coming over and we will order Chinese food. Whoever is interested can shoot some pool and we'll hang out a bit.

Over the weekend, for a change of pace, Rick might have some snow to clear.

I'm going to spend a couple of nights at my place at Kennedy Meadows, leaving for there on Thursday, for a campfire, peace-and-quiet fix. Might do some PCT hiking. Just checking Craigslist about buying some firewood on the way up. I'm way over due for a trip. It's supposed to be in the high 30's at night and around 60 in the day.

Thanks for the reminder; honestly forgot about it. Since her mother died on Valentine's Day she never been in the mood to appreciate it as much but I be in big trouble if I missed it all together.
