I am driving to Phoenix on Friday for the Winter Classic ElliptiGO meet. Fifty-five people have signed up to ride on Saturday and Sunday. Jerry (Spokes Man), who moved to Phoenix in October when he got married, will be joining the group on Saturday to ride along on his single-speed bike. He's gotten lean and strong on that thing and gets a higher average speed than I do on my 11 speed ElliptiGO. It's always nice to hang out with him. I doubt I'll get to meet his wife.


Monday morning I'll catch a plane from Phoenix to Colorado Springs, to take care of my sister after her surgery this Friday. I'll fly back to Phoenix next Friday, and then drive home to So Cal, from there. Should be a good 8 days. I'm expecting snow in Colorado Springs next Tuesday or Wednesday.

Just like when going to an S2000 meet, I had to clean up my ride.

Years ago, in a Yahoo chat room I connected with a woman from NH. She and I have remained internet pen pals. We exchange emails, texts, a couple phone calls, and are FB friends. This Saturday we are meeting in Salem, MA for lunch. Should be fun.

We've met other folks through the internet, and it's turned out pretty well.

I have to work again. 10 hour day Saturday at the local medical center doing a clinical study on a new piece of medical diagnostic equipment. Hope fully this is the last one. At least this time it is live patients and not cadavers.

Washing/rotating tires/checking brake pads/fix sticking parking brake/changing oil on the Genesis.....

Pulling wheels off the S2000 (need to get new tires put on!)
