Since last weekend was very, very busy, I'm glad to have a quiet one. The +1 is in NJ with his kids visiting Grandma. I finished writing Christmas cards and delivered cookies to the condo staff and my hair salon. My mother's residential facility floor staff also got some. I am headed to the market this AM with a friend and we are having breakfast afterward. So nice to be able to walk places.

I just got home from a weekend memorial service in AZ. I'm tired, but life goes on. Tomorrow is Chris' and my wedding anniversary, so we are going out to celebrate. Then on Thursday we are flying to Costa Rica for son Nick's graduation, and return next week. Well, and then we celebrate Heiligen Abend, etc. at Oma's Haus in Austin, then back to Colorado for some rest and recreation.

Happy Anniversary, Jim and Chris!!
We will be celebrating the +1's birthday and the start of his new job. Haven't seen him in a few days, since he's been with the kiddies up in NJ. But they come back today and kiddies leave tomorrow (his actual birthday). The last two days of work in his current job will be hectic. His loss will be keenly felt and I'm sure his "boss" is still somewhat in a state of denial.

Oh, this just reminded me...
Lainey, good news. Out of 100s of applicants, you have been appointed the Official Photographer of the Legal Bill Cookie Party. WOW!!! You are allowed to use this designation in all your advertising during the holiday season. Congratulations.
